Father God,
Thank You for salvation. Jesus' death on the cross and the Holy Spirit's work in our lives makes it possible for us to follow You command to pursue holiness. Help us to follow You in obedience today. Don't let us adapt to the passions of the world around us or the things from which You set us free. Instead, shape us into Your design for our lives so that we can be holy, even as You are holy.
We call You our Father. Thank You that salvation allows us to do that. At the same time, we know that You are an impartial judge who will judge each of us according to our deeds. Help our lives to be filled with holiness. You redeemed us from the pointless activities of the world around us. Let us be different, filled with a holy purpose because we know that we will have to give an account for everything we do.
Since You are holy and You saved us to make us holy, let us live today with an obedient and submissive heart, ready to do Your will. Thank You for Your grace that enables us to have a cheerful and hopeful obedience which will lead us to holiness.
Amen.
